This Roquefort that we retail is very special indeed. Today, it is the only cheese that is made by hand by the wonderful Yves and family.
Roquefort Berger harnesses the local region with the sheep grazing in pastures and feeding on the grass, meadows and flowers across the Roquefort-sur-Soulzon. This particular cheese we find is more creamy than a standard Roquefort but with a higher level of piquancy and heavy blue veining. In terms of flavour it is very strong and potent with an incredible smooth and intense paste. It is completely unique and unlike any other cheese in the world.
