This delicious cheese is highly unusual made using milk from the makers own cows that are fed on whiskey husks.The cheese is matured for around 6 months and individual in every aspect fully embracing the french word 'terroir'. In the family's own words 'We strive to keep our cheese as natural as possible, not even adding colouring... For that reason, the cheeses we make in winter, when the cows are being fed hay, are whiter in appearance than those made when fresh, green grass is more readily available.'

Powerful, tangy & lingering. We highly recommend this cheese to those that enjoy the top of the mouth burn and appreciate a full flavoured that packs a punch cheese.
