Cows Milk, Pasteurised, Animal Rennet

Made by cousins Robin Skailes and Howard Lucas at Cropwell Bishop Creamery, Nottinghamshire

From the famed Stilton makers at Cropwell Bishop, Beauvale is a completely unique British cheese that displays similarities to a Gorgonzola Dolce with a wonderful soft, gooey texture. Milk from local farmers is used to make this cheese, hand ladled into moulds, hand turned and then matured for seven weeks producing a thin soft crust. The name was conceived by a family friend, commenting 'He's a rather creative chap and took inspiration from the Vale of Belvoir, which is the name of the area surrounding Cropwell Bishop'.

Creamy,on the palette. We recommend this blue to anyone who prefers milder flavours.
